I was going to say the British Invasion comics, but everyone did such a bad job of imitating those, it really felt like they were just trying to Batman: Year One/Dark Knight Returns perfectly innocent comic book characters.

Good lord, that entry is a great argument against public wikis. Poorly written, logically inconsistent and flat out wrong on the facts.

The Iron Age may -- debatable -- have started with Crisis on Infinite Earths, but reboots are hardly what "define" it.

Thanks for this. Maybe it's not entirely accurate, but I appreciate you giving a real answer instead of a snippy one. FWIW, whenever I looked up "Ages" in comic books, Iron was missing.
