So, I've continued the Modern20 trend of talking about books really early on. In this case, you're getting a look at my thoughts when the manuscript is on page 4.

It's going to be very different. It will still have the same selection of powers, but will be entirely feats and skills based. No power points, no power stunts, etc.

Also, no new classes (obviously).

There will be a setting for it, Dark Future, which is a future where mutants have been imprisoned by a fearful government.
 

Well, this might just be the one thing that trips me over to the Modern20 system.

I still wish you had an option for damage save like True20.
 

Will there be advise/rules for different types of superhero campaigns (four color, grim & gritty, cosmic, ect); such as generating Ability Scores and selecting powers?

Any new Backgrounds and/or Occupations based on Supers gameplay?

Will Character Disadvantages handle comic book-style disadvantages like vulnerability to certain types of attacks or weakness to "things" that wouldn't normally be damaging?

In general, how is superhero equipment handled, like powered armor or special weapons?

Will there be sample characters covering the usual Supers types (Brick, Blaster, Speedster, ect.)?

Will the use of Action Points be expanded or changed in any way for Supers gameplay?

Will the Dark Future setting be a part of Supers20 or be offered seperately?

Yes.

Probably.

Definitely.

Not sure. I don't think a Blood and Circuits type system is appropriate. I do agree that it needs to be addressed. I have considered just handling such things as individual powers though.

Yes.

Hm, not sure, but if I have any ideas along these lines, then yes.

When can we hope to see dark future and Supers20 hitting the shelves.. I see that they are on the "Next Up" list... but how close is close?
