Hey guys!

Quick update - so in RL, I've had to evacuate (Irma); and my evac spot is also in the path. Go fig, right?

Anyway, may not have access to update for a little while. If y'all have some good ideas for the next survivor thread, put them in here so I can check them out when I'm back. The very first page has a link (the blue prior threads) to a list of all previous survivor threads if you want to make sure you're not repeating yourself.

Be safe and good luck!

As for ideas, my vote is for Legendary Monsters in their Lairs.

Blackmoor 13
Greyhawk 10
Lankhmar 13 - This setting has much more character for me than the others.
Mystara 11 - For me this setting should read Missedara. I liked the Immortals set, but not for the setting.

1) That's what happens when you live at the far end of a long skinny peninsula - there is only one direction to run.
1a) And everybody else gets the same idea, all at once. -sigh-
2) No way to find a boat and move perpendicular to the storm's path?

More seriously, best of luck. See you next week.

P.S. I still think the best hurricane shelter I've ever seen is the battleship USS Alabama. It's got about 1 foot of water under its keel so it can't sink. (It also can't move so it won't help YOU any, alas.) It weighs 35,000+ tons so it won't blow away. It comes equipped with 16" of steel plate all over, to protect against flying debris. Internal electrical power, big kitchen, beds for 2000. What more do you need?
