I played the first 10 or 15 hours of the game on my cousin's Sega Genesis. It was pretty damn good for its time, and I'd pick it over a lot of its peers. I think it was exclusive to that platform, which would likely be a big cause for its relative obscurity. The Dungeons & Dragons brand on consoles through the 90s was mostly dead. It may have been more fondly remembered had it been on the PC.
