The more I think about this, the more transparent Puff's psychological manipulation of poor Jackie Paper becomes. What green dragon could meet a youngster with the amazing ability of astral travel and pass up the chance to guilt-trip the kid into defeating his foes, some sort of extraplanar nose-creatures from the Far Realm?

I mean, sounds like a good cause to me.

Maybe Puff is an Eberronian dragon, and saw a great disaster in the Prophecy that only Jackie could prevent.

I would say the Black Dragon is the most Iconic Dragon after the Red. Now that Red is gone I say it deserves the win.
