I argue that Beastmaster must go out before Sinbad. There is always a quest, a journey, some fights, and treasure in any of the Sinbad movies. They may be hokey (OK, they are hokey) to our modern sensibilities, but they are D&D. Beastmaster? What does it have to recommend it? I hear animal companions, and ... ?

However, a big knock I have against Beastmaster is everyone seems to have a single syllable name. That bugs me for some reason.

I'm amazed that Dragonslayer is so low.
Almost everything about that movie mirrors a TTRPG adventure path.
"A terrible dragon is terrorizing the medieval land of Urland... Representatives from the kingdom seek the assistance of the wizard Ulrich, to defeat the dragon immediately. Urland has been delivering virgins to appease the dragon, and their princess has rigged the lottery system they use in order to sacrifice herself next. But when Ulrich is killed, the task to confront the dragon falls to the wizard's apprentice, Galen."
You have a clear villain (the dragon); an adventuring party seeking out a wizard; a complication (the wizard dies); and a clear objective for the party -still figure out a way to defeat the dragon with the help of the (less skilled) wizard's apprentice.
In the movie, the apprentice turns out to be the hero, but that's easy to change for a group game. Curse of Strahd has important NPCs.
