Wow, really? That's awesome. I had thought it was going to be a DVD release, in the vein of the Hellboy: Storm of Swords or the recent Marvel comic adaptions.

Doubt it'll come anywhere near here, though.

It will be straight to DVD - unless for some reason they change their plans and go in to limited theatrical release.

Yeah, I think Donald would be a better Raistlin. He's a lot , well, creepier than his son. (Though the younger one did do pretty good as a creepy doctor in Dark City)
