SW saga edition overview at WotC

Wow, that overview looks really dull and awful. My group really has not had a problem tracking skill points, or reputation, or Wounds. But I'm sure "d20 StarWars for Dummies" will sell to a (literally) wider audience and that's what count$.

You're certainly entitled to your opinion, but the reason for the changes was to simulate Star Wars play better, not dumb it down.

Wow, that's borderline offensive.

Ki Ryn - you are welcome to voice your opinion, but this is trolling, being deliberately offensive to a large group of people. Please don't do it again.

Among the more noteworthy changes are the introduction of the swift action (similar to that seen in Dungeons & Dragons) and the use of hit points in place of vitality points and wound points.

Woohoo!

I don't think that there's a problem with tracking those points. I don't know why the reputation mechanics got the boot (does anyone know the answer?), but I'm no fan of lots of (often mostly useless) mini-skills, and the wound mechanic is appropriate to a certain style of play, which doesn't really fit my view of SW. I'll save my final verdict for the time I'll have read the new version :).
