Spoilers SW: Skeleton crew discussion thread

Pretty much avoid directors lists. Mostly because I don't know most of them. That's in any show.

I meant to reply to this, but forgot. ‘The Daniel's’ are a duo that debuted with the film Swiss Army Man, (check the trailer if you’ve never heard of it, it’s kinda bonkers) before winning a stack of awards with Everything, Everywhere, All At Once.

I have seen none of that.
Oh man! Everything Everywhere All at Once is a masterpiece! You must watch it!

So let’s assume At-Atan was set up during the High Republic to generate the wealth needed to pay for the Starlight Beacon and similar works. The Sith infiltrate the Republic bureaucracy and “lose” the planet, arranging for the wealth to be diverted into Sith great works, like the Exogol Fleet, Starkiller Base and Project Necromancer.

A couple of those nine lost worlds might be Ilum and Exogol.
Firstly, it’s spelled “At Attin”. Also, the Sith would have had to infiltrate it and redirect its purpose far in advance because the planet has been lost long enough for it to have become a legend.

I can't understand. How can you guys watch all the Disney sw spinoffs without dying of boredom !
Keep on with ep 123456 (and Rogue one maybe)

It’s not the whole side though. It’s really only Vader who wants to use the dark side to bring order to the galaxy. Palpatine wants self-aggrandisement. This sith in The Acolyte are after revenge, and company. Sith can have any goal, so long as it’s selfish.

Jedi can have any goal, so long as their intent is altruistic.
Yeah, the Sith code is one of absolute personal freedom, the key part to understand being that the Sith code only applies to Sith. If a Sith wants to enslave the entire galaxy, they're entirely free to do so (or at least to make the attempt).

1-2 a year. Not quite batting 50/50. They tend to start off good and fall apart around episode 3 or 4. At least the meh ones.

Only one has been kinda bad (BoBF). Other way round with animation 1 dud everything else is good to great.

They're also short. Some are way to short eg 8 episodes 25 minutes each or close to it. Cut up movie feel.

Skeleton Crew off to a great start maybe the best one yet. Expectations were rock bottom.
