[SWd20] D&D => Star Wars: The Burning Plague

Here is my latest foray into the world of conversions: Just for fun I've written "conversion notes" in order to run the quickie 1st level D&D adventure "The Burning Plague" as a Star Wars adventure.
This is a really good conversion.

I even think the adventure reads better as Star Wars than D&D.

I don't see enough conversion notes about the place these days, even though ease of conversion is one of the key strengths of the d20 system.

Hope your session goes well.

Thanks Erica, I'm using this as the introductory adventure for my Jedi campaign - it's just the right kind of thing for three padawan to take care of while their master is taking care of 'more important things' around Tatoine (in this case, routing out a fairly high level seperatist who has gone to ground in Mos Espa)

Oh, cool! This is great I love the module and have never gmed it for dnd, and am starting up a biweekly star wars game soon, so this is a a great resource. Thanks!

I used this in my game last Thursday and it worked out great. Although i did bump up the dark jedi at the end a few levels, as one of my players brought his 8th level Master with him... but it worked out fine. It took the entire party to bring him down.
Good times... Good times...

Great! Glad it worked out for you. :)

I ran this adventure this past Saturday, including it as a sub-plot to the adventure I had come up with on my own. In short, the characters had to find and travel to the mine to get information from Jacen Tungstan, only to find him dead in room #2. That is as far as they explored the mine, though. The found the information they needed on a key card on the body, and returned to town without venturing deeper into the mine. lol

Ah well ... the rest of the adventure I had planned went off without a hitch and we all had a great time.

My run of the module didn't occur this weekend, as the leader of our party voted for the Undedark campaign to continue instead of starting up the languishing All-Jedi campaign.
