Sword Cane?

Napftor

Explorer
I'm about to fashion a sword cane as an exotic weapon for a book I'm working on. Unfortunately, I'm not sure if WotC did this for one of their class books or not. Heck, for all I know, a third party publisher has created one on their own. In any case, does anyone here have the vaguest idea if a sword cane has been statted? I do not want people to provide their own suggestions in this thread for how to stat such a weapon, just if one exists to the best of their knowledge.

Thanks!

D20 Modern has a sword cane statted in it.

I also think that this thread should be in another forum. Just my opinion.

Yup. Here's the stats Napftor...

Sword Cane (archaic weapon)
Damage: 1d6
Critical: 18-20/x2
Damage Type: Piercing
Range Increment: -
Size: Medium
Weight: 3 lb.
Purchase DC: 9
Restriction: -

Also, here's the description from the D20 Modern SRD...

Sword Cane
This is a lightweight, concealed sword that hides its blade in the shaft of a walking stick or umbrella. Because of this special construction, a sword cane is always considered to be concealed; it is noticed only with a Spot check (DC 18). (The walking stick or umbrella is not concealed, only the blade within.)

Damn. There goes that. I'll just have to think of another cool weapon. Thanks guys. dkilgo: were you thinking this should be in the House Rules forum? I went with this one since I was looking for the weapon in an official venue.

What's wrong with this one? Was it not what you were looking for?

Thanks again.

No, for some reason I was thinking that you wanted to ask opinions of people when it came to you wanting to create a sword cane, that is all. I meant no offense, promise. It was early in the morning when I posted that, and I had not quite woke up fully. Sorry!

No apology necessary. I'm glad you also think it's a cool weapon. Look for it as a smooth bounty hunter's weapon in one of the upcoming Foul Locales books from Mystic Eye. Hehe!

I am not familiar with Mystic Eye either. I don't get out much. Which could be apparent by the fact htat I have posted quite a bit since I became a member late last month.
