"I've had worse," says Randlay a bit dismissively, finding somewhere to sit down for a moment and give himself a rest from the weight of his armour. "That 'rah, rah, evil god' routine they did on us care me a few sores, but stabbing myself in the face was my own fault. Not sure that is much to worry about right now." The crusader has known to be a bit taciturn when it comes to his own injuries in the past, but he will not usually brush it off if it is really bad.

Denir waits for Jack to head back down before moving to the center of the room and holding his sword point down. His focused prayer upon it causes a burst of soothing energy to wash over the entire party.

"I am good" , says Sir Sheldon as he packs the mithral breastplates away. "These can be used by our side to defeat the demons. Finally, something good happening for once."

He actually has a small grin.

After a generous application of the healing wand and divine grace the group is feeling somewhat more able. The scorpion is nowhere to be found.

"I wonder if this tower could be secured for a safe house?"

Thorn shakes her head.

"Structure's in bad shape, and the cultists will probably be trickling into it for days to come. If we do anything with it, it should be to set up an ambush point. Though it'd be easier and safer just to rig the thing to explode next time people try to get in."

She shrugs at that. "We can make recommendations, but it's out of our hands now. Lets head in and make our report."

Sheldon shrugs. She's probably right. Waiting in ambush here would be a bad waste of time, but the traps would be best. He nods his acceptance.

"I agree with Thorn, too many cultists will be showing up to check in. Traps and such would be a good idea. Which would also be Thorn's area of expertise I think."

Meliara feels movement in her pocket and a small purplish head peeks out. "Oh! Are you alright little one?" She helps the psudodragon out of her pocket with a little bit of struggle. "You are getting way too big to stay in my pockets! Soon we'll have to find a new spot for you." She finds a comfy spot and sits, throughly looking over her friend for injuries. Once she finds none she lets out the breath she didn't realize she'd be holding in. She gently pets the dragon who snuggles up against her.

"So, where do we get more information about this... demon I am assuming? I am glad to hear we foiled some of their plans but we'd better figure out the rest before it's too late. I hope we don't have to travel too far."
