When your Int bonus goes up permanently, naturally. ;)

Right on, so if your Int increases from 18 to 19, you don't become trained in a new skill, but if your Int increases from 19 to 20, you would become trained in a new skill?

Was checking out Force Boon for one of my Jedi, doesnt seem to be in the valid choices list for any of the classes. Does that mean you need to have prestige levels in order to pick it or is it an error?

The bonus feat from the class list at even levels is a feature of the base classes. You can take any feat you want (and qualify for) with the feats you get for your charcter level (at 1st level and every 3rd afterward, like most d20 games) or the one you get for being human (if you are). You've probably also noticed that Force Training isn't on any class bonus feat list.

You are correct. It's when the modifier goes up, not when the stat does.

In some regards, the skill system seems to be a cross between cross-class skill advancement and a level-based skill variant rule from UA:

Hope This Helps,

forum play

This is where I'm looking forward to the "acting character always does the rolling" aspect -- gone are the days when the NPC mage throws a fireball, and play stops till everybody reports in with a reflex save... Any one post is enough for the GM to check stats and report all successes or failures.

There are feats which are not on the 'bonus feat' list for any class, but don't forget the '1 feat per 3 levels' which you also get as per normal and which you can choose freely from any availble feats. (see p37)

Cheers

And if you indeed want to roll saves do so. Subtract 10 from the score and add 1d20 instead.
That would mean the opposition roll has to take 10. So, that is up to the DM. It's either let the DM roll one time and see if it meet-or-beat the PC's Defense . Or let the DM set the DC and let everyone roll individually and check each if they meet-or-beat it.
