SX:3 From the Bowels of Philadelphia (Hero For Hire Judging)

A-phib pulls the Com-link from his belt. "Million Mask, Intrepid, come in. We need information from Doctor McCarthy, find out more about Dr. Null's plan and where we should focus our attention. So far there is nothing but more robots patrolling the dam, there is no sign of Null, the monster, or bombs."

Aquaphibian's call goes unanswered. Meanwhile... Three of the tankbots stop and fire at Aquaphibian. Two miss, but one manages to hit him, knocking him back with a bolt of energy. The other two close on the heroes.

OOC: Aphib is bruised.

"These robots are becomming increasingly annoying! Twilight Gryphon responds, her leoline tail accenting her words as she dives towards the nearest bot.

OOC Attack: 22
...are these bots minions?

OOC:well, there's a lot of them and they seem easy to defeat. :D

Aquaphibian takes a ferocious swing, but misses his target. Both Gryphon and Ghost destroy their adversaries, leaving one last bot. The robot fires at Gryphon and misses. Ghost notices that the last group of five tankbots seems to be staying near the east power station., rather than rushing to join the fight.

Aquaphibian misses with a wild haymaker, but the tankbot explodes after one of Ghost's telekinetic attacks.

OOC: Just a reminder- Next Friday is like the last post for a few weeks. What does the team do next?

OOC: any objections to trying out the east power station?

A-phib tries the com-link again: "Aquaphibian to Million Mask or Intrepid, come in..."

Once again Intrepid and Million Mask don't reply. The heroes fly towards the east powerhouse. As they near the patrol of five tankbots they hear something extremely large begin to emerge from the bay, water falling from it. They turn to see the dark outline of a 200' giant robot!

OOC: Guys, I have to leave the game at this point, and I likely won't be back until my three weeks in WI are up. We had a fire that I have to go tomorrow to help put out. These things can take a lot of time, especially with the really high winds we have going on right now. Things should be on a little cliffhanger for now.
