SX:3 From the Bowels of Philadelphia (Hero For Hire Judging)

Ghost's telekinetic spike of force tears into the nearest shark, rupturing its metallic skin and sending it into the bedrock where it explodes. The blast raocks the heroes, but doesn't seem to do any harm. The second shark charges straight for Intrepid, but seems to be turned away by an imperceptible force. As it swims by after having its attack blunted, Aquaphibian slams into it with a powerful blow. It seems to go limp as he attempts to squeeze the mechanical life out of it.

The heroes can only assume these beasts were designed to stop a much weaker force than the Resolutes.

Million was impressed that Ghost and Aquaphibian have no much problem fighting against. He decided wait for little longer before he act because more robot sharks can appear.

[sblock=OOC]MM will delay and take defensive stance again.[/sblock]

Aquaphibian will extend out with his tremor sense to determine if there are any more "bogies" in the surrounding area. Then he will make sure that both robo-sharks are inactive.

"Nice work team. Resolutes one, Dr. Null zero. If the area is secure let's get inside and look around".

Intrepid looks at the wreckage of the two sharks. That almost seemed a bit too easy, he thinks. I think I'll keep my force field up for now... just in case.

Aquaphibian's voice sounds over the radio: "Nice work team. Resolutes one, Dr. Null zero. If the area is secure let's get inside and look around".

He glances over at Aquaphibian. "Right behind ya, big guy."

Twilight Gryphon gives a thumbs up to Aquaphibian and waits for him to enter the "cave', since he is both leader and this is his environment.

OOC: A-Phib is unable to detect any other enemies.

Million Mask- In the past I haven't started the games with the players having a HP. Maybe this isn't According to Hoyle, and I haven't been doing something standard. H4H- care to chime in?

OOC: Well, I though that all character start with 1 hp and then they will gain more hp through adventures.

OOC: My mistake. I haven't been doing this. Million Mask is now relieved from his fatigued condition. Here is the quote [sblock=Hero point rules]
HERO POINTS Whether it ’s luck, talent,or sheer determination, heroes have something
setting them apart from everyone else, allowing them to perform amazing
deeds under the most difficult circumstances. In Mutants &Masterminds
that something is hero points .Spending a hero point can make the differ-
ence between success and failure. When you ’re entrusted with the safety
of the world that means a lot!
Hero points allow players to “edit ”the plot of the adventure and the
rules of the game to a degree. They give heroes the ability to do the
amazing things heroes do in the comics, but with certain limits, and they
encourage players to make the sort of choices heroes do in the comics,in
order to get more hero points.
Heroes start each game session with 1 hero point.During the adven-
ture they get opportunities to earn more hero points.Players can use
various tokens (poker chips, glass beads, etc .)to keep track of their hero
points, handing them over to the Gamemaster when they spend them. The
Gamemaster can likewise give out tokens when awarding hero points to
the players.Unspent hero points don ’t carry over to the next adventure;
the heroes start out with 1 point again.

OOC: Shall we wait for Fenris2, or proceed into the "cave" right now? I was waiting, but at this point I might as well post my next action.

Auqaphibian will focus on his senses (to locate trouble) as he swims into the opening.

"Follow me" he says to the Resolutes.
