SX:3 From the Bowels of Philadelphia (Hero For Hire Judging)

The heroes swim for several minutes in an amazingly large upward tilting chamber until they come to another door with a lever.

OOC: Note sure what's going on with Fenris2, he was online yesterday. I'd certainly like to hear from him. Until then his character will take a backseat, and Malthusian will NPC him. If he doesn't show up in a while and there isn't another game going, we'll think about swappping his character out for another in the Ready Lounge. That said I would really like to see him show up and play.

Twilight Gryphon takes up a simular position at this lever that she took at the last one lever, giving Aquaphibian the thumbs up to let him know she's ready.

OOC: It would be a good idea to ready actions, who knows what will come out at us this time... It is too bad Ghost is on the back burner, he could scout ahead (he has both x-ray vision and darkvision too, pretty useful :) ).

Aquaphibian gets into place by the lever. "Alright my friends, I'll pull the lever just like last time, be ready for anything." Aquaphibian waits for his teammates to get into position.

OOC:

Sorry oh folks. Work slammed my butt last weekend. Then the construction company building next door took out the cable and phones == buh-bye interweb for Fenrsi2 for a bit... ;-( Quite amazing what one of those big excavators can do in a "whoops" scenario.

Anyway, I am catching up with all my games and should have a post up tonight or earlish (for me) tommorrow.

Ghost says, "Hey A-man, why not let the Ghost with the most do some X-ray scouting first?"

Ghost will do the x-ray mojo and report what he sees. Looking for any traps or what not while he is at it...

OOC: A-Phib is unable to detect any other enemies.

Million Mask- In the past I haven't started the games with the players having a HP. Maybe this isn't According to Hoyle, and I haven't been doing something standard. H4H- care to chime in?

OOC: All players start with one Hero Point (more if they have the Luck Feat) and can be rewarded more thoughout the adventure (usually due to GM Fiat). The Core Book rules state HPs reset "per session". Since PbP games dont have "sessions" it is generally up to the GM when to reset the HP which may vary due to GMing style, storytelling purpouses and length of the Adventure. I myself make liberal uses of GM Fiats to make for an interesting story and generally reset the Points per "Fight".

Your HP will always reset when you start when your character starts a new adventure.

[sblock=Ghost] Ghost sees that this door leads to a ramp that extends out of the water. There doesn't appear to be any apparent danger [/sblock]

OOC: Great to have you back! I figured it would be something like that since you were so active posting in the Ready Lounge and General Discussion threads.

OOC2: On HPs, I kind of run these as one big session so we won't be resetting until the adventure is over. On the plus side that helps you out for extra effort.

Intrepid swims off to one side of the door, his force field still active, expecting anything. He watches Ghost closely, waiting for word that the way ahead is clear.

"Hey, Phib," Intrepid says with humor in his voice, "if anything bigger than those Robo-sharks come through that hole when you open it... It's all yours, my friend."

Ghost says, "Looks safe. . . But, if Null and Void has the brains god gave a pet rock , then those sharks and this door will trigger an alarm. (Looks at the rest) Any of you down with security stuff? If not, then I could pull my insubstantial voodo and go on through and open it from the inside. I figure there is less chance of an alarm that way..."

"That sounds like a great plan Ghost, go ahead through the door."

OOC: Aquaphibian readies an action to charge and tackle the first "hostile" that might appear on the scene (through the door or from wherever).
