Taking away the shame...of Roleplaying!

Celia? Xan's boyfriend? The hot portuguese girl in the Catholic schoolgirl outfit from the night that you guys all ran and left me alone by the pillar in the mall?

And what lady friends? You don't have any lady friends(except for the one's who bitch about their boyfriends to you).

I honestly do not remember either her or that particular occasion.

You DO realize that I have friends outside of your knowing, I.E. high-school-oriented....don't you?

I'm not saying that you don't have friends. I'm just saying that you don't have lady friends(beyond those who are the standard high school variety for a geek, the girls who bitch about their boyfriends all the time to ya but wouldn't go out with you).

And y'all didn't exactly leave me all alone. That was the night y'all tried(the first time) to hook me up with Toni.

In general, being a gamer is no more reason to be ashamed being an avid sports fan. Those guys worry over which group of over-paid jocks can hit a ball and run around in a circle the most times. WE, however, involve ourselves in situations that can help us out in reality, posing to ourselves the question of "How would I react.", therefore allowing us to better know ourselves.;)

Raving lunatic or philosoph: you decide!:D

You can try to be elitist if you wish, but the fact is sports are a widely accepted mainstream activity whereas gaming is not. Athleticism is deeply ingrained in american culture. The all-star Qb is a popular guy in HS, nevermind that he'll be working at Pizza Hut for the rest of his life. Nobody raises an eyebrow when you discuss the playoffs at the watercooler. If you're on a company golf outing, discussing sports is a way of bonding and establishing a good rapport with colleagues. I wouldn't try bragging about your latest paladin on such an outing unless you work for WoTC.

Actually...no. Most of my lady friends are quite beautiful, intelligent, and non-geek types, to whom I am a fountain of wisdom concerning how to deal with guys(when they ask). And how would you know? You haven't been to our High School for over 1 1/2 - 2 years or so.

I didn't hear about you being stuck with Toni until 2 weeks later. So don't blame me. In either case, that was the day my opinion of Rich entered the sewer, since he sparked the whole thing.

Dude that's what I just said. You're the non-threatening guy friend, the guy that girls don't even think about sexually, the one they come to for advice.

You blinded me with idiocy.

So I have attractive female friends who ask me for advice, big deal.

As for the sexuality thing. I'm not so sure about that. There are two in particular who do a certain amount of smiling, winking, and commenting; which most people would describe as flirting.

I'm the guy whom they treat like most others, but whom they trust enough to ask personal questions. Trust does not equate to not thinking of in terms of anything other than a normal friend.

Now if you don't mind, could we get back on topic?
