Just watching this over on the Dungeon Dudes, and it is just delightful! I really enjoy Deborah Ann Woll's DM style - she keeps things fun and fast-paced, and Ginny Di and Anjali Bhimani are similarly joyful players, so the tone is light. Although it's called Session 0, it's really more of a mini-adventure to give a taste of the campaign to come and I am definitely on board!

We watched session 1 tonight and we really enjoy it. The 1-hour length is perfect. The format fs mixing actual locations with regular RPG dice rolling and role-playing is entertaining. Deborah is a great DM and all the players are really into it. It was great seeing Iman Vellani (Ms Marvel) discover D&D and roll her first natural 20 during the first fight

We had decided to no longer watch people play RPGs but this is show is very dynamic and visually fun to watch. Looking forward to session 2.

I thoroughly enjoyed it (especially the shorter runtime), and I found the “confessional” interjections to be insightful.

 

[Lazybones]

I admit that I haven't been looking for yet another actual play to watch since I started Critical Role's season 4, but I liked Relics and Rarities, and may give this a shot. I enjoy DAW's use of physical objects/props when she DMs. Agree that the comparatively bite-sized nature of these makes it more manageable than CR's 4-hour mega-episodes.
