Tales of an Eternal Kingdom D&D 3.5 *Recruiting*

A perfect fit. I like to dm arcane characters because it makes for a challenge. As for power hungry. You'll prolly have a great time dealing with the aristocracy.

I'll probably just go with a vanilla human wizard, it's been a while since I've played and like I said I've never done a message board game, so I want to keep it simple.

Dealing with the aristocracy in this case is more along the lines of steal as many of their secrets as possible to further my own power and ambitions. This is a character who serves no one but himself, though has no qualms against working with anyone else interested in crushing this vampire aristocracy. Possibly he might side with the aristocracy if it furthered his ambitions, but not as a slave or a servant.

HM, that little section doesn't tell me enough about the feats to use it. Thanks for the effort though. I always check Wizard's snippets to see if they have stuff I can use. ToB is kinda iffy for the most part.

Andor, thanks for the link, but I don't think that guide actually tells me WHAT stuff does... which is my problem as much as optimization-type stuff is. But Shadow Jaunt sounds epically awesome for a ninja. A Swordsage/Ninja would be pretty awesome, if I could get my hands on the actual info on the class and manuevers.

Actually wizards (amazingly enough) posted the entire manuver section online. Took me a few to find it though. Here ya go.

Note that even if you just go with monk/ninja you can dabble in manuvers with the martial study/stance feats, and you always have an initiator level = 1/2 your non-initiator class levels.

just remember the more resources you access, the more I'll access for npc's you'll have to fight. also the gratuitous point system works for my npc's as well.

just some thought before you go all out.

Are you open for a fifth evil char? This sounds REALLY interesting. I was thinking about playing a ranger, his physique and mind destroyed by a plague in his childhood, forcing him to living alone in the sewers of the city he fled to. He became bitter and cynical, and begane to hate humanity and especially do-gooders that couldn't see the beautiful truth that suffering is.

I would be a ranger, going for the Cancer Mage prc from Book of Vile Darkness...

So, I'm wondering:
1. Is the game open for one more?
2. Would that be a valid character in that case?

That's cool, though, I don't have the information on those requisite feats either.

Kagehiro, my goal is more to give my character a mysterious, shadow warrior feel, rather than trying to super-power myself.

Hmm. I notice you do have the tome of magic. Why not go for the Shadowblade or Shadowsmith PrCs? Shadowblade in particular seems right up your alley.

Kagehiro, any comments on my character proposal?

>.> I've had trouble understanding the whole Shadowcaster stuff, and I believe those PrC's require levels in those classes, no?

yes and you can be the fifth character. I like the idea and it should play quite well.

well i definitely got a way to get you there in the city. i'm trying to get a good grasp on dynamics on how this plethora of personality is going to fit into such a macabre city. i guess we'll just find out at the mix begins.
