Tales of the Sun-Kissed Vale in D&D 5e (or generic race creation help!)

I'm looking to bring the Sun-Kissed Vale and Fightin' Fungi into D&D 5e. First up, I would like to make the Fungi folk as a playable race. So I would like any thoughts, opinions, creative ideas, etc. any of you might have. Thanks!
So right off I'm thinking the Greater Sporeling would be the core playable race.
Traits
Size: Medium
Speed: 25 feet
Ability Score Adjustment: Starting Constitution score increases by 1.
Spongy: Due to the unique shapes of fungi folk, typical armor would be expensive and difficult to make. While un-armored, a fungi folk may add their Constitution modifier to their Armor Class.
Plant Life: Fungi folk can eat almost anything. Nutrients are consumed through tendrils they grow from their appendages.
Revigorating Rest: Fungi do not need to sleep. Instead, they rest for 4 hours a day, by remaining still with tendrils sent into the soil, After resting in this way, you gain the same benefit that a human does from 8 hours of sleep.
Low-Light Vision: If there is no light within 30 feet of you, you treat shadows in that radius as normal light, and you treat darkness in that radius as shadows.

Languages: Trade speak (common), Sylvan (elven)
Subrace: Oaken Spears, Autumn Folk, Rotten Hearts, Path of the Underwood

Oaken Spears
Ability Score Adjustment: Increase Strength by 1.
Weapon Mastery: You are proficient with simple and martial weaponry.

Autumn Folk
Ability Score Adjustment: Increase Wisdom by 1.
Inspiring: As a bonus action, you can inspire an ally with their next skill check, giving them an advantage to the die roll.

Rotten Hearts
Ability Score Adjustment: Increase Intelligence by 1.
Cantrip: Choose one minor spell from the wizard, sorcerer, or walock spell list. You know and can cast this spell. Intelligence is your magic ability for it.

Path of the Underwood
Ability Score Adjustment: Increase Dexterity by 1.
Speed: 30 feet
Weapon Proficiencies: You are proficient with nunchuks, bo-staffs (quarterstaff), kamas, throwing stars, katanas.
