"I think if they had captured him, we would have heard..Ok Errol, since the party is already split, I guess you're right.
Nariah, Duran and I will circle round and hit them from the rear. When you hear the fight start, come in and flank them, hopefully you'll see JV as you do so. Ok?

Ilvellios paused for breath, then looked at his companions, "If we first identify a leader or spellcaster, let's focus our initial ranged attacks on him, unless you spellcasters have some spells which will confuse many of them or prevent them from reaching us?"

Errol nodded to Illvelious. “Try and stay at a distance. Harry them with ranged attacks to whittle down the numbers. Let them come to you before you engage,” he told them. He was already stationed out at the comfortable edge of his crossbow range. “We will wait for your signal.”

Then he proceeded to give them a bit of a pep talk.
