Tavern - City of Orussus, The Red Dragon Inn '08

As Joe finish to explain, Rinaldo smile. "I think I just learn as much in one discussion about you then in the last five years. I'm surprise to see you can do such long sentences." tells the merchant, teasing the barman.

"Hub for ellicit trade in magics?" asks Hogarth, turning her head to Rinaldo with an unapproval look..

"Ok... the rumor that came to me include Balsra Darr, but I'm not going there to establish business link... merely to know my competitor. And if I can save the life of someone on the side, it is always welcome."

Rinaldo turn back to the conversation. "I'll do it Joe. So, it is Rillitorn who will teleport us there?"

[SBLOCK=OOC]Sense Motive (1d20+17=24) In the link, I rolled 1d20+10, but 10 is my number of rank, not the toal, which is 17... I forgot how to read Rinaldo character sheet it seems.[/SBLOCK]

Eanos, human monk

"Charlarn, it's been some time. How have been your travel? Nurlan, how are you? How goes your theatre in Monemvassia? Eanos! Long time no see. You seem to have gain some wisdom over time. It looks almost like Tenebrynn party."

Eanos smiles as the merchant greets him. And bows in respect.

"Well met, Rinaldo!" the monk says, rising and bowing with a smile. "Ayratha has tested my mettle a few more times since we last traveled together, though it seems all of you have gone through far more." Here his glance around the group seems to rest a little longer on Ashnar and Hogarth in their new bodies.

As Joe calls Rinaldo and the others to look at the missive, Eanos gives a smaller bow and smile, moving to refresh his drink.

"As I told Ashnar, I don't think I've been tested by Ayratha's fire nearly enough to join you on this adventure, but I look forward to hearing the tale when next we meet."

Joe nods,

"Yes I will have him with us shortly, by hook or by crook. I am glad to have you onboard takes a weight of my mind, some of it at any rate. I will need to know how many will be traveling before I fetch him though."

He turns to the group expectantly biting his lip.

[sblock=OOC] If anyone knows where I can find more information on Rillithorn I would be greatful since I believe I have read passing reference to him being somewhat eccentric and wish to maintain a consistant character for him.

"As I told Ashnar, I don't think I've been tested by Ayratha's fire nearly enough to join you on this adventure, but I look forward to hearing the tale when next we meet."

Joe nods,

"Its a wise man that recognizes his limitations Eanos, your death would do nobody any good."

[sblock=Rilithorne]Rilithorne made a brief appearance in the tavern starting around here. I know he's been on-screen a few other times, but I think none more recent than that. I think he might have been involved at the end of Edwin's (sp?) pie brigade, and in various other adventures, mostly long ago.[/sblock]

OOC: Much obliged Covaithe, very pleased to discover that he and Joe adventured together as that fits in perfectly with my plans. :D

Planus applauds at Rinaldo's entrance. "Hey, good show, Mr. Rinaldo. Always good to see someone who knows how to make an entrance. I am Planus Anaid, follower of Mongrel."

At Joe's comment about 'you know Ulurans', Planus says quietly with a wink, "No, but perhaps I should learn more."

At Eanos's reluctance: "It may be a wise man who knows his limitations, but true greatness comes when those limitations are exceeded. Besides, its never much fun to stay home."

sense motive (1d20+5=6) Planus is far to engrossed in studying his new acquaintances to be actually paying much attention to Joe.

OOC:
Rilthorne's first appearance was in The Burning Tower. He has a mage's tower / magic item store that he lives in alone with his automated servants. He makes an on screen appearance at the end of the adventure.

Note: I'm not trying to pressure jkason into having Eanos come along, but it is in-line with Planus's personality to pressure Eanos into coming along.

Edit: Oh, I hadn't kept up that Rilithorne and Joe adventured together. Living worlds are cool!

Ashnar suppresses a sigh at Rinaldo's entrance, and Planus' reaction to it. More illusions... she thinks.

"We could be at the mountains quite fast even without a teleportation, but that would still be faster, and less draining on our resources we might need. I think I should leave my familiar Fareye here, though."

I don't see anything that opposes existing canon, though I did place a secret beneath the edges of the Stonepikes. Thankfully those mountains are pretty big.[/sblock]

Eanos, human monk

At Eanos's reluctance: "It may be a wise man who knows his limitations, but true greatness comes when those limitations are exceeded. Besides, its never much fun to stay home."

Eanos raises an eyebrow. "True enough, Planus," he says. "But I suspect it's much less fun to never come home again. No fear, though. I trust Ayratha will soon enough send another test to strengthen me."

Tenebrynn smiles as Rinaldo enters, when discussion turns to Tenebrynn's romanic life he answers, "Things are going better than could be expected. I'd never have thought I'd find someone who was interested in a book worm who is never home. We are in fact courting thank you for asking."

Tenebrynn shows interest in what Joe is asking of the group and when Rinaldo offers his services Tenebrynn adds, "I'll help out too Joe."
