You Must Be At Least
THIS SHORT
To Apply For This Job

Remi looks over at the sign with an amused look on his face.
"Quite the bounty for catching rats. I'm not sure whether I should be relieved or dissappointed that I'm not qualified for the job."

Llorian returns to the Red Dragon, and sees only Telerin of the ones he had seen before.

"Greetings to all," he says cheerfully. "I am Llorian."

He sees Tristan and Sebastian, and walks over.

"Last I heard, several people had found work. Anything new in?"

While talking, he keeps an eye open for Tiggle. If he sees him, he wants to ask for something "different."

Bursting in from the backroom, Tiggle looks a little rusled and not his typical jovial self. His clothes are dirty, and his face has a look of pure pain. Staggering to the bar he slumps onto a chair, and whispers out inbetween deep breaths. "Sorry.....I'm.....late......had to see......my crew off...." Tiggle than slumps down and lays his head on the bar.

OOC: Sorry some internet problems/ I have not adjusted to the new boards kept me a way for a while. I need to go back and catch up on the tavern, but if any drinks were orderered assume a measly bartender got it, as for Tiggle.....

"Welcome Llorian, I'm Sebastian and the lady is Katherine."

"As for work, not much right now unless you don't need your legs or you can shrink your self to under three and a half feet tall." As he motions toward the newest post on the board.

Katherine looked over the new arrivals and commented, "Well, perhaps in the mean time we should make our own little adventure- um wait a moment, that came out a little more provacative than I thought it..." She coughs a bit. "Well, when my tongue tumbles I know its time for a rest. I'll be back down for dinner, if anyone does show who suits the new bill, I'll fill them in on what wouldn't fit neatly on the sheet then."

She gathered up her supplies and headed upstairs singing happily...

I am a bardic wanderer,
And I love to do a show.
My latest ballad offer,
I finished a week ago.

A mighty knight it spoke of,
Who took a Wyvern’s head,
But a wyvern’s tale doesn’t scan very well,
And you need a good beat if you wanna fill the seats,
So I turned it to a Troll instead….

Tristan offers Llorian a hand, "Well met, Llorian. I am Tristan Agencourt, sellsword. Unfortuneatly we seemed to have arrived during a dry spell, no jobs, and the bargnome seems to have exauhsted himself else were."

Around lunchtime, Katherine wanders down the stairs again. After a quick check of the board to see if anything new has arrived, she clears her throat slightly and adresses the bar as a whole in a clear, carrying voice.

"Excuse me, friends, but but I have a proposition to make while things are slow. I am Katherine D'Sylvia, if any have arrived since I last introduced myself. I know we're mostly here to be hired by others, but I have a few spare coins and would like some less dangerous help of my own. As I mentioned earlier, I tell and gather tales, and like to track down lost things. But I have found myself thinking that tracking in a more literal sense would be a useful skill in my line of work. No one is likely to know the location of a lost child, including the child himself and there may come a time when following a physical trail is as important to me as finding the beginning of a rumor's path.

"And so, I'd like to propose a hunt. I could pay a few gold each if one or two of you who are skilled in the woods would take me along and show me the basics of tracking. And with any luck we can bring back some fresh meat and treat our fellows to a hot meal tonight. If anyone is interested let me know and I'll change into something more sensible." Katherine smiled a bit at the end as she glanced down at the emminately sensible travling clothes she already wore...

Weather update: A storm is brewing in the region surrounding the Red Dragon Inn.

Just thought everyone might want to know.

The inn door opens, and you could swear that the ocean was just right outside - the strong smell of sea spray wafts in the common, and in steps Dylan. His clothes are a bit damp from the storm brewing outdoors, but other than that he appears quite handsome. His hair is draped about his face, and that ever-present smirk is there.

With a casual swagger, he scoots himself upon the bartop, planting a booted foot upon the surface and giving the bartender a nod.

"It's quite chilly out," Dylan gently bites at his bottom lip, "so I'd say a bit of whiskey is in order."

The head Bartender, Joe, points to a sign above his head that reads, "Introduce yourself before you make requests of others."

Joe begins stirring up a drink for the newcomer.
