"An alarm you said? My cousin talk me about such things. They were using two types of alarms. One was a simple wire, almost invisible to sight. If someone or something walk on it, it is cut, and some bells start to ring at the end of the string.

A second type was a wizard that cast some spells. More tricky, as it is magical. He told me the magician could make the warning hearable to everyone near the region of the alarm, or silent. He was wondering how the mage could hear such alarm, but with magic...

Anyway, for any kind of alarm, you just need to step out of the trigger to pass unoticed. It is another thing to be able to see that trigger... If you just get off the raod some time before, you may be able to not trigger it again."

Nurlan introduces Ashnar, Somac, Tor, Rinaldo, and Persephone. "Persephone has been to Monemvassia, and was telling us a little about it. Including one rather interesting tidbit that explains why the Sword of Justice Kim referred to does not function as it is supposed to. She won't return there, but it sounds like the rest of these people are interested."
Charlarn shakes the hand of those present and takes a seat. "It's good to meet you all." He turns to Persephone. "What did you say about the Sword of Justice?"

Tor's red and yellow eyes swirl as he considers this statement.

"I've thought of a third kind, sort of. There may simply have been a living creature watching the area from some high place or hidy-hole. A spyglass or some sort of magic might have been used."

"If I recall correctly, we were waiting for one more member of your original band, yes? I think you called her Irene. If I understand everyone's intentions correctly, Ashnar, Somac and myself would definitely be willing to join you, and Rinaldo may be willing as well. With all of the members of your original band, that's a fairly large force."

Persephone

"Well, it's called 'the Sword of Truth,' actually. It is able to detect lies, in addition to its combat prowess. In any case, it was taken from the city by Prince Julian, nephew to the current King. He didn't think it was working for King Crassus, perhaps because he was evil natured. Julian feels he is the one who should be king. I hope you run into him on your trip. He's a good man. A bit headstrong, but tell him....Well, just be good to him if you see him."

Charlarn thinks for a second and says, "Hmm. That's an interesting development. I hope he treats us the same."

He looks around the room. "Has anyone seen Irene? I thought she came in with you."

Coming in last, Irene enters the Inn. Seeing her companions with some new people she hesitates for a second, but then moves to the group.
"Sorry I'm late, I had some... business to take care of. It should be good now. I assume you informed these new people of our job?"

Moving casually throught he door, a tall elf enters the Inn once more, his hat a little more the worse for wear, his gear likewise. His had not been the best of days recently, but that might soon change. At the sight of the pantsless Dwarf, Silvercat snickers and then breaks into uncontrolled laughter, yelling out Now there's a man what has a story and a need for a mug and a shot. Joe, Silvercat has returned, and might I have a drink and another for the streaker here.'

OoC:God, I almost peed my pants laughing when I saw 'He is wearing no pants.'

A large coppery skinned man with flaming red hair rises from the table as Irene aproaches.

"Pleased to meet you, Irene." Tor says, offering his hand.

"Nurlan and the others have indeed explained the job to us. They say you are a woman of great talent. I hope I can be of help in this job."

"Welcome back Irene. It does look like we have found a few people who are interested in joining us." Tenebrynn says, introducing her to all those around whom he has met.

"Glad to see you," Nurlan greets the halfling. "I've explained the situation, and it looks like there will be seven or eight of us going out this time. We have some planning. But first, how about a little song?" At that, he looks out over the room and, for the first time, his attention is caught by the characters who entered while he was briefing his newfound companions. He had been vaguely aware of more activity at other tables but too engrossed in the conversation at his own to acknowledge them. Now he sees the worn-out elf, the halfling even shorter than Irene, and most prominently of all, the half-naked dwarf. He decides the atmosphere and decorum of the bar is are appropriate to material somewhat more bawdy than he has previously used to entertain there, so he begins to sing the old drinking song Glimp the Large, about a dwarf often ridiculed by humans and elves for his short stature. What his teasers did not realize (and this is hinted at in double-entendres, although not especially subtle ones) is that his shortness was compensated by abnormally large size in other areas.

As he sings, he moves around the tavern, clearly offering up his entertainment to all present, not just his own table.
