[Tavern Thread] The Dunn Wright Inn

"It seems we have ourselves a wizard of sorts Yo." Mortar looks around the room once more. "We could still use one more though."

Mortar looks up at Elenka. "What about yer friend there? Would he like to earn some coin?" He looks back to the table with a young man and his bow. "And excuse my manners. My name is Mortar Foehammer, I am a ranger from the Sethir Mountains."

Elenka, Human female Summoner

Again the young woman flushes in embarrassment. "Oh! My apologies. My name is Elenka Danyllova from the Krai of Predgor'jah in the Seithr's forested northern foothills. It is a pleasure to meet another, well, not from my home exactly, but close to it." She smiles and bows to Yoshiki. "And to you, also, sir."

She glances back at Franco. "You could certainly ask if he is interested in joining the expedition."

Yoshiki bows in return. "And I am Yoshiki Akita. It is a pleasure to meet you as well." To Mortar, "Indeed we have."

Approaching the young man, he makes a short bow as he speaks, "Greetings, we are preparing to embark on an expedition for payment in gold. Your friend Elenka has just joined us, but we could still use another. Would you care to join us as well?"

Clearly much more at ease with this fellow than he had been with Elenka and Ariel, the young man rises and offers his hand. "I'm Franco Atiradore. I was thinking of offering my services" - he looks over at Elenka and becomes somewhat more anxious - "but I think I'll bide my time here a bit longer. I'll happily buy you and the others a drink on your return, though!"

OOC: It'll be awhile before I'm eligible for another adventuring character, so I'll have to pass. I know there are some others around, though - we keep talking in the social group about how we don't have enough adventures going on for all the characters!

Looking at Franco then to Elenka, Mortar lets out a chuckle. "The young miss makes ye anxious does she?" he looks back to Franco. "I understand and will be expecting that drink on my return." he lets out another chuckle. "We can discuss your anxiety around a pretty girl. I bid you good day young Franco." Mortar makes his way back to Tilsit Dimplecotton's table.

"Master Franco has some business to take care, so he won't be joining us on our search." Mortar explains to Dimplecotton.

OOC: No problem man. We can delay this however long Dimplecotton wants. What about you Scott are you good to go or whats going on?

Vincenzo looks up and sniffs the air, turns around and looks at Franko and Elenka's table. He sees the brownish liquid and sniffs again and says, "ewww. Stinky mud water from the little frogg's canals." He then turrns around and orders a stronger ale.

(ooc) had to say that about Elenka's coffee.

Ariel Esimae, Female Aasimar Cleric

Ariel watches Elanka get up and offer her services with the halfling, ignoring her completely in her farewell.

Looking to her remaining companion at the table, she tastes the bitter kaff and is not sure what to make of it. Perhaps the tea is more to her liking, but she doesn't regret trying it for the experience alone.

As Franco goes over to talk to the group around the halfling's table at Elanka's beckon, she is left alone with her thoughts. She would spend some moments in silent reflection, but there was enough of that on the journey to Venza.

Ariel looks around to see if anyone else is interested in joining her to just talk.
