Tech specialists from the revised Star Wars core rules

What do they look like? I'm trying to come up with a finalized technologist class for my D&D campaigns, and I've used ideas from
-Forgotten Realm's gnome artificier
-Deadland's mad scientist
-Dragonstar's mechanist
-Pulp Hero's scientist
and I was hoping someone could post the run-down on the tech specialist, since I can't get near a revised core rulebook right now (stupid game stores are all in other cities... grumble...)

Meaning that they get Instant Mastery, Research, Skill Emphasis, things like that for Class features.

But at what levels? BAB and saves? Actually, I could infer those things from the latest SW Gamer. What I really want to know are skill points and what Tech Specialty does. They seem to get it at levels 4, 8, 11 (the blurb in the mag only goes up to level 13) and they don't tell what it dies. The Expert ability too -- smart heroes don't get that.
