Tell me about your Homebrewed Settings?

I've never met a campaign setting that wasn't homebrewed.

That said, my personal campaign is set nominally in Mystara, and in which the World of Xoth and Hyperboria are nearby-ish continents. I like the Mystara maps, and I use Mystara adventures, but I pull a lot of lore and ideas from Xoth and ASSH, as well as from the Dungeon Crawl Classics game.

Well, there's maybe a difference between homebrewing some content for a published setting and completely homebrewing the entire setting. I'm not suggesting in any way that one of those is better or worse. I only mention it because when I read 'homebrewed setting" I'm thinking of the latter, not the former.
