Tell me how you've used Ronin Arts pdfs

Specialty priests? Could you give me a few more details, please? :) That's something I've SO been looking for for D&D, and still haven't found? It's one concept I really miss from AD&D 2E.

Each specialty priest has information that replaces the standard class features, thereby specializing the class. Sort of like an augment of a character concept.

September's Pipeline had:

Priest of Fire
Priest of Destruction
Priest of Evil
Priest of Earth
Priest of Sun

October's Pipeline had:
Priest of War
Priest of Water

I'm of course still hoping that we will someday see A Dozen Specialty Priest or to see more in the DM Pipeline. I also hope it will expand to focus on portfolios as well as domains.

I've used the pumpkin wardens from the first Visions PDF in my last campaign (a kind of planar Wizard of Oz adventure).

I really like the Visions series too. Are there any more in the works? I recall seeing the title "Visions: Gothic Delights" somewhere...

Oh, sure, make me want something else.

(Clerics, or rather, their inpreciseness, have always been a sore spot for me.)

I've frequently thought that I should take this idea and expand it into its own PDF.

Actually, just an idea, maybe a better way to do it is a different short PDF for each domain. Include an improved version of the appropriate specialty priest for each domain, some new spells and other assorted items, and let people pick and choose the domains that interest them.

It's sitting on my harddrive right now. I think it will actually be coming out as something other than a Visions book, though. Maybe an Antheneum Arcane, if that's alright with Phil.

I haven't had a chance to do any more PDFs these last 2ish weeks because I've been consumed finishing up a project for Goodman Games.

Now, I'm quite eager to get back to the PDFs.

I've got at least one more planned Visions, #4: Four Dread Horsemen. It's a project I've been wanting to do so badly, I can taste it.

Also, suggestions for more are always welcome.

That's an awesome idea. I've always liked the idea of personalizing clerics beyond just domains.

Also, do you/Ronin Arts take submissions? Just curious.

Anyway, I await recieveing my copy of DM's Guide to Demiplanes with anticipation. (Dang Postal Service, it hould be here by now!)

I'd really like to see some nasty epic level stuff....

I've been toying with the idea of including epic level stuff in Four Dread Horsemen, but I'm not 100% sold on it.

Mostly because I'm not 100% sold on Epic level stuff. I recall being in a fairly empassioned discussion about the ELH here when it first came out. Mostly I think it committed the cardinal sin of being sorta boring, save for the concepts of some of the monsters.

But, I guess, doing so epic stuff would let me put my money where my mouth is. :D

Just because the book was boring doesn't mean the results from using it have to be. Truth be told the players handbook ain't the most exciting read either ;)

Not currently. Until I come to grips with this carpal tunnel I'm sticking to the projects already in the works. I can't keep up as it is. Sorry.

I'll be interested in hearing what you think of it. I think it turned out well but, so far, very few people have provided any feedback.
