Whew...
Glad to her your doing alright, you had us worried for a while there. Just rememer, we're here if you need us...

Awwww, group hug!

Listen, 'Maki, anyone who can inspire everything from an outswell of support to a small-scale flame war is someone worth fighting for. :D

I'm glad you're finding things to feel good about. Keep on going, and keep finding help; if the medicines aren't doing it for you, then counseling or possibly another medicine instead can.

Warmest regards to both you and your mom!

[upon reading the thread further]

I'm glad you're still here, Uz. How are things working out for you?

EDIT - GUYS, I'LL MAKE THIS CLEAR ONE TIME. TAKE IT TO E-MAIL. BOTH OF YOU.

NO MORE HERE.

Whats good about life? How about knowing people care enough to post 5 pages of responses in a day? That and nat-20's.

Seriously though, glad to hear from ya.

I've been on antidepressants for 15 months. I think I'll start looking at things I can do in addition to the medication, though. I've always been too good at depressing myself when I'm alone.

Bear in mind too, that sometimes an antidepressant won't work well or will work well for a while but then have decreased effect.. so if either of this applies to you, it might be worth looking into changing meds..

'maki, hang in there. Whenever you feel down, DO NOT HESITATE to post here. Every week if need be. I recommend doing it in the Off-Topic Hyvemind forum.

Are you currently gaming ? Tell me about it.

I took out the quote. Hope you don't mind. PCat.

Excellent point. Antidepressants tend to lose their effectiveness over periods of time - it would be good to find other things that help you with your depression. Gaming works quite well, I've found. :)

As an aside, I really don't appreciate my attempts to give Uz. accurate information about depression deleted. You may feel a warning is appropriate, Henry, but erasing the things I posted to give it to me is not.
