As I said previously, it should (at least according to my memory) lose the Vermin traits.

Actually, the example beetle they give in Sav. Spec. loses the Vermin SUBTYPE, but not the vermin traits. The template says that the creature retains all of the base creature's charateristics, and I guess that includes traits that are not somehow superceded by some template modification (such as undead losing their CON score).

I think Knight Otu is right about the feats, though, as the book says that monster characters gain feats at the same rate that standard race characters do, but this creature that you've made doesn't qualify as a character due to the INT guidelines given in Sav. Spec.

TYPE, not Subtype. :p

I seem to remember that the general overview on templates states that a creature that changes its type due to a template loses all traits of its old type and gains the traits of the new type. Guess I'll have to reread it.
 

OK, SavSpe only specifies that a templated creature gains the traits of the new type, so I was wrong.

But the centipede should at least lose it's immunity to mind-affecting effects, as that is a direct effect of its Int nonability.
