Temuro defeats Slarzog - Ciaran judged!

Slarzog aims an outstretched palm at the blade's flat, trying to get it out of the way for a devastating punch.

The east wind drowns the hells; parts the slash of the isle!

“Temuro has a strong, multi-layered defense,” says the judge. “But no element of his defense relates directly to his opponent’s attack. And Slarzog's attack is far stronger than Temuro's inaccurate blow. Point to Slarzog.”

Two flags Slarzog, one flag Temuro.

(Misread whose attack was whose; fixed.)

The orc licks the blood from his injured hand, and grins ferociously. He suddenly charges forward, whipping a nunchaku from his belt behind his back, and striking at Temuro's head.

The nunchaku slides with the brush; quells the cut of the garden! *yen*

The scythe tranquilly tramples the tombs; reduces the stab of the iron! *yen*
Temuro slashes his katana like a scythe in a controlled fury, attempting to parry the orc's nunchaku.

Several onlookers whistle appreciatively at the exchange of blows, and some even toss money at Temuro's feet (a total of 2 yen).

"Very good moves," says the judge. "Slarzog, your move shows strong internal consistency. Temuro, your move shows great inner tranquility, and has great power besides. In addition, Temuro's move uses the style of the day to good effect. Point to Temuro."

Two flags Temuro, two flags Slarzog.

Temuro quckly gathers up the yen.

The phoenix flips below the prairie; shields the offensive of the flame!

Temuro mutters a fast prayer to his ancestors of the Phoenix clan, and his armor seems to take on the traditional colors of yellow and orange, as he flips into the heat of the melee with the orcish fighter.

Slarzog raises his guttural voice in an orcish war chant. He tries to avoid the samurai's charge and smash his face with the nunchaku.

The weasel dances from the cavern; sings facing the rising of the holy ground!

The judge drums arthritic fingers on the arm of his folding chair. “Both moves, though offensively weak, make good use of synergy,” he says. “Temuro’s moves are fiery, while his opponent’s are artistic. Given the choices, I favor Temuro’s move, which has a stronger defense. Point to Temuro.”

Three flags Temuro, two flags Slarzog.
