Tenser's Transformation and Divine Power(and other cleric weirdness stuff)

First Post
i was just looking at spells today, and I noticed that Divine Power is only slighly less powerful than the 2-levels-higher Tenser's Transformation. DP grants more strength and the same amount of attack bonus, along with temporary hitpoints, AND you can still cast spells. Tensers of course does give Dex and Con and a natural armour bonus.
But then when you think about combining DP and Righteous Might with a cleric's considerable base combat abilites...and consider they can still cast spells at the same time..
Well, its no wonder many people...myself included...have some issues with the cleric.
(yes I know this is a hot subject, and yes I do like debates. I just find it interesting that two similiar spells of dissimiliar level are so similiar in power).

well I guess that noticing that just resparked all my issues with the cleric class, and by association, the whole "god" magic versus "magic magic" deal.

One thing to note is that the improvement to BAB from Divine Power is less than Tenser's Transformation. Arcane Magic is also (in general) more useful on a battlefield than Divine. I think that it balances out for the most part.
