(OOC: It's rough terrain to get to Hulgyr, so it's going to take more than a round to get there and then move rubble to help him escape, and as the shifting rock and vague hints of orcish features are showing, he seems about to surface on his own.)

"You think you could spare a healing prayer?" Zack asks Michael. "Things're about to get ugly and I'd prefer to come out of it in one piece."

Making his way across the shifting rubble, the warrior moves to his brother's side, swinging his scythe in a powerful arc towards the wendigo.

OoC: I believe Zack is unable to charge the wendigo due to difficult terrain.
If he is close enough to strike at the creature, Power Attacking for 3 (Attack +12, damage 2d4+18, activates Knockdown feat)
Knockdown gives a free trip attempt (no AoO, touch attack or return trip on a failed attempt), Zack's bonus is currently +8.
If he can't reach the wendigo in a single move, total defense instead.

Current numbers, under Rage, Haste, Prayer, Shaken:
HP 45/79
AC 14, Touch 9, Flat-footed 14 (+5 Armor, +1 Dodge bonus from Haste, -2 Rage)
Fort +8 Ref +1 Will +2
Attack +15/+15/+10 (2d4+12/x4)
Str 22 (+6) Con 16 (+3), -2 on ability checks.

(OOC: Correct on no charge--you can charge on the ice with a successful Balance check, but Zack has two squares of difficult terrain (the one he's in, and then one more) before he gets to the ice. Zack cannot reach Ducane's Wendigo in one round. He could reach the currently-laughing one if he wanted)

Whoops. I thought Zack had already charged off.
My mistake.

Michael converts lesser Restoration to positive energy and channels it into Zack with a thump from his fist.
"Try not to get hit -- it does a lot more damage than I can heal!"
(Seriously, at 40 points of damage a pop, it'll cost me two spells every blow...if I'm lucky.)

Second Level Cure (2d8 5=11)
(And I'm not lucky so far.)

Michael dashes off to where Hulgyr is about to climb out of the snow.

(OOC: I think that even with transparency, the skill won't work--they work the same, so Use Psionic Device lets you trigger magic items, but you study the way of casting them differently, so you aren't guaranteed to know what the other tradition looks like. At least, it would be pretty lame if transparency works that way--I wouldn't want my Wizard to recognise the exact psionic power given the description of the display type, just to say 'Crap, it's psionics' or something. In fact, Zaeryl has points in Psicraft and Spellcraft both for that reason.

That said, the spell is very blatant, and Eternity might suspect it would be somewhat similar in effect to a Force Screen. Aya can't possibly fail on a Spellcraft check to identify it as Shield)

With Opale holding off the one attacking Aya and Ducane hopefully able to hold his own against the other, Eternity maintains her focus on the dragon. She'll wait patiently for its approach, ready to fry it when it comes swooping in again.
