Some character gen guidlines:
1) Ability scores are to be generated through the 28 point buy method. Every class gets max starting gold. Everyone starts at 1st level (unless you choose the Fey-touched, which has a LA +1)
2) The following races are available:
Humans
Hill Dwarves
Gnomes
Aquatic Elves
Aquatic Half-elves
Fey-touched (Fiend Folio)
3) Available Classes include:
Fighter
Barbarian
Druid
Cleric
Sorcerer
Bard
Rogue
Ranger
Swashbuckler (Complete Warrior)
Note that I might also consider the Wizard, though they are meant to be exceptionally rare.
4) Available Prestige Classes (Besides those in the DMG):
Hunter of the Dead (Complete Warrior)
War Chanter (Complete Warrior)
Nature's Warrior (Complete Warrior)
Stone Lord (Complete Warrior)
Survivor (Savage Species)
Waverider (Savage Species)
Note that this is not a fixed list and will probably see additions as new 3.5 supplements (Complete Book, Planewalker's Handbook, etc) see print. I'm also somewhat open to others that you guys might bring forward, though you should confer with me first for approval and so that I can fit it in.

The world is composed of a series of small island realms. I'm taking a slightly different tact with this campaign than with Feint Whispers. There I heavily detailed a lot of the ground-level stuff like geography, politics, etc. With 'That Sinking Feeling' I'm instead going for a strong central premise and will improvise the details with your input.
So what I want here, along with your character stats is a short character bio and a brief description of your home island (name, culture, size, etc).
Just so you know, I'm thinking the alignment theme for this campaign will be chaotic good vs. lawful evil.
None of the above is set in stone. I would appreciate your feedback. I think its a neat, simple theme, though i admit the aquatic campaign setting isn't at all original.
EDIT: All Feats from Savage Species and Complete Warrior are available. I might also consider Races of Faerun.
