And my axe!Does he have a sword? A knight should have a sword.
Congrats to him. I don't know who he is -- oh, I've probably seen his work I guess, but don't recognize the name -- but sounds like a worthy award.

In Britain they get equipped with sporks...Does he have a sword? A knight should have a sword.
The Wire, Luther, the Thor movies, Suicide Squad, Kelvinverse Star Trek, one of those Fast and Furiouses, Pacific Rim, Prometheus, a lot of stuff. He’s very prolific—you’d recognise him if you saw him in something. He was also the favourite to be the new James Bond for a long long time but he’s long since aged out of that. He also a DJ, apparently, but I wouldn’t really know about that! And my axe!

No, most of them are people you’ve never heard of being awarded for charity works and the like. The ones you hear about are the famous ones—the actors and musicians and athletes—because they make good headlines.Feels like to become a knight you have to be something sort of actor, musician, ect.

I guess thats why Paladins needed at least a 17 charisma in AD&D.
Yeah, they aren't usually awarded for acting, although some actors use their platforms for service for which they do get awarded. While there are some that have been awarded for services to music, or film, or whatever, they are usually awarded for things like science, education, medicine, industry, sporting achievement, charity work, civil service, etc.Knighthoods are awarded for Service to the Community.
So not just actors but rather actors who have made some kind of contribution to that community - hence the need for high Charisma![]()
