As a long time fan of Frog God Games and Necromancer Games, I'm really excited about this. I actually just came across it this morning and it looks pretty awesome. I just can't decide between 5e and PF2 (I know getting both is an option that I'm considering.)

One thing I didn't notice on the Kickstarter Page is if there's a timeline for the release of PDF and print. Also would all the editions release at the same time (for example, will PF2 release after PF1)?

Also, are there any plans for VTT integration?

Thanks for checking in, and by all means spread the word to fellow fans of the Frogs and the classic Necromancer Games line!

Answers below!
1. Getting both is definitely an option, and you can order a second version (PDF or print/PDF bundle) at a discount as part of the Kickstarter (which also gets you all of the unlocked free bonus adventures in both versions).

2. It generally takes about 3-4 weeks for all the administrative stuff to get sorted out once a Kickstarter finishes. We'll be sending out surveys through Backerkit for people who want to add extra stuff there, get us their shipping info for print, and so on. Once that's nailed down, we'll start rolling out releases starting in July with the Player's Guide and the first adventure. I expect we'll roll out probably 2 adventures a month, and backers for the compilation will get each individual adventure in PDF as it releases. We'll be re-editing and finalizing the compilation version while that rollout is ongoing, and as soon as it's ready it'll go out to backers as well. If we end up doing any overseas print runs, that has its own scheduling requirements, but if we end up fulfilling via print-on-demand those books will start going out as soon as the final PDFs are ready.

3. For VTTs, providing the higher-res standalone player-friendly map files and art files in the Art and Map Folios (our next stretch goal) is one way to make them much easier to use. In addition, we do have an upcoming stretch goal to create digital tokens for use with VTTs, and another to create Fantasy Grounds files. It won't be part of the Kickstarter, as we've found VTT conversions can be very unpredictable in terms of how long they take, and we don't want to offer something we can't directly control in terms of timing. Looking at how this Kickstarter is going, though, we should easily make that goal and I look forward to providing FG support. We'd like to offer Roll20 as well, but they've been much slower to get things onboarded.

Can I ask what games system was the AP originally written in? @LegendaryGames

Thanks

Sure. The first drafts of the adventures were done for the 1st Edition of the Pathfinder RPG. We then took those drafts and sent them out to our experienced 5E rules team (and to our Pathfinder Second Edition team, for the adventures in that system) and each adventure was extensively edited and revised, not just converting stat blocks but also content and flow, to conform to design and play expectations for each system in particular. That's the key thing when creating a multi-system project: Making sure that what you create makes sense and feels right in the "destination" system. That's 100 times more important than trying to maintain some absolute one-to-one correspondence. We've got a lot of experience doing just that, with over 100 5E products already under our belts, including both 5E-native projects and prior conversion projects over the past six years, and we think you'll be very pleased with the results!

Yeah, I ask because I am just deciding what version to buy. I'm a long term LG fan, I think I'll go for PF2, and add 5e on. $30 shipping to NZ is unprecedented, well done!

Sounds good for the versions you like! I'm just about finished with the final 5E editing pass on adventure #6 and about to do the same for the PF2 version of adventure #5. Then it's off to layout for initial galleys and proofing.
