The "Anti-Villain"?

My problem with Doom is that he's a munchkin. He's a scientific genius in power armor, he's the ruler of a country, AND he's the world's second-most-powerful sorceror? The magic aspect never sit well with me...

Dude, being a wizard in power armor is what makes Doom awesome! n Take away the magic from Doom and you get the Fantastic Four movie version...

And Latveria is portrayed differently by different writers. By some he is beloved and the country is a paradise. By others it is a police state nightmare.

I tend to see it as Latveria is a paradise if you obey the law and do what Doom says, and if not then you get disappeared by the Doombots.


He's a villain, but he thinks he's doing the right thing and making the world a better place. Mostly. As long as you don't step on his toes. Or look at him the wrong way. Or sneeze in his vicinity.
