The Bad Batch - SPOILERS

An enjoyable first episode. I don't have much attachment to this squad from The Clone Wars or other EU material, but they're likeable enough so far, and the couple of kid characters managed not to be annoying.

It is yet another "What I did during Order 66", which has been done a lot, but we're getting more of a view of the aftermath from the Clone Army's perspective, which is interesting so far. Seeing the start of the Tarkin Doctrine and the re-organising of the Imperial military could be good.

I wonder how long this series will run. It feels like it has the potential to bridge the gap between the Clone Wars / Prequel era and the Rebels cartoon.

Was that Shaak Ti being escorted out of Kamino?
I asked elsewhere and the consensus was she died in the Jedi Temple on Coruscant.
It does sound interesting hope they can keep up the interest and skip the bad writing seen in the other releases this year.

Well, that was fun

I haven’t watched the Clone Wars, but figured I’d check this out while waiting for Loki.

I didn’t hate it.

Not sure if you know this, but the connection to Rebels is there already.

Caleb Dune, the padawan at the beginning, grows up hiding out, and changes his name to Kanen Jarrus.

D'oh! I completely missed picking up on his name.

He also had the same voice. Which kind of didn't work for a 10(?) year old.

The big mystery is Omega (a name that presumably denotes "final clone"). Who was her template? She vaguely resembles Satine, which could connect to Obi Wan and/or The Mandalorian. It is theoretically possible to change the gender of a clone though.

I wouldn't be surprised to learn she's the culmination of their research since they made all those male clones I guess they were wondering if they could create a female one!

I wonder who she's cloned from? Just a female version of Jango? Will we see her as an adult in some future Disney+ show?

She's clearly an enhanced clone like the Bad Batch, maybe they accepted a new donor for a sample and she's the result of that new template.
Would be ironic that they would be developing the means Palpatine would desperately need a force sensitive host body and Tarkin comes along and orders all of the enhanced clones killed unaware the Emperor desperately needs the Kaminoans research?!

Sure, but if he did find out, he'd first take the research and then blast the planet down to atoms. The last thing he wants is entire armies of Force users after he's just exterminated the Jedi.
