It's looking more and more like the Tribe will win the wild card (thanks to whoever scheduled all those late-season games with the Royals, Tigers, and Devil Rays), but the White Sox surprisingly haven't collapsed. I suspect the Indians or the Angels (or maybe the A's, if they win the NL West) will be in the World Series; the Red Sox and Yankees have too many holes and I don't think I'll ever believe in the White Sox.
As for the locals, they've pretty much wrapped up the NL West, the only question is if they'll be over .500 at the end of the year. Peavy's probably good for a win in the playoffs, but that's about it. Figure on the Cardinals making it back.
