The Canadiana Alternative?

Actually, there are 3 nights claimed so far:
1. Little Canadia
2. ENnie Judges Party
3. Post-ENnie Awards-TBR, LGX, & the Ladies gatherings

And that will probably be thursday, friday, and Saturday; the three biggest nights.

Well, at the very least, we need a wednesday...something. I want to have a way to meet up with Enworlders after my game is over.

Like I said before, I wouldn't mind hosting something. I'll ask my roommates if they'd have a problem with folks coming over. (We're in Embassy.) If I recall correctly, the Exhibit Hall doesn't open until 10am, so we could shove y'all out at midnight and still get more than enough sleep.

There has been talk about meeting up for a dinner in a food court connected to the downtown complex. After that is there a reason why we couldn't simply congregate in the lobby of one of the hotels? The Embassy lobby is huge and there is plenty of room to sit, stand and socialize. As the night wears on and the crowd thins a bit, I'm sure we could repair to one suite or another.

Perhaps I can get PC and Eridanis on board for some kind of "Mod Squad" gathering.

As usual it sounds like you all are planning a wonderful time. Wish I was going to be there this year. But between my upcoming work schedule and the upcoming new addition to the family, it is not going to work out this year either. In any case, you all need to have a good time for those of us that won't be there. :)

Embassy lobby works for me. The only potential problem I can foresee is the fact that non-Enworlders are likely to be using the same areas to congregate, as well.

I know there has been talk of an EN group dinner at one of the local places, as well as a Karaoke night. But I don't know the dates of those, or if they have even been set yet.

My understanding to this point has been that the "group dinner" was to be on Wednesday night as everyone was arriving. The location for that was looking like a food court attached to the downtown complex due to the availability of open seating and a variety of eating establishments. I think there was an assumption that the Canadiana Suite would be that night and therefore we'd adjourn there after eating. This may no longer be the case but I still think the group dinner that night as a "meet & greet" is a capital idea.

As for Karaoke, I was understanding that to be on Thursday night. I'm not sure whether I'm going or not yet but that's the day I've heard mentioned more than once for that event.

Wednesday is also (generally) a good night to go to the Ram Pub (a local bar and grill with a gen-con themed menu) because a good share of the Gen Con crowd has yet to arrive in Indy. I might suggest that, rather than the food court.
