No, those books do include a lot of information on local Settings to spin off into further adventures. The Setting info in Waterdeep: Dragon Heist is far more in-depth than the Waterdeep section of the FRCS.
Again you’re telling people to pay $50 for minimal content to use then. Fiscally irresponsible request. It hasn’t been until the last 6 years that people have argued RPGs are a premium hobby but the only game people are really expected to pay premium for minimal content is D&D. Other companies successfully continue to follow the classic model for their game lines with less cost & more depth. Do they have D&D success? Nah but they don’t have the same streaming support that D&D does and therefore don’t have the same brand recognition. This is also the only forum I see the argument being made in sharp contrast to pre5e. But then it is the same people over and over again so I guess it’s not the forum but like four users.
