D&D 5E The City of Is'Merith

Alejandro is not too fussed about the armour, it was the breastplate right? Current AC is 13 or 15 with shield. How much would a breastplate damage his stealth? Not too much? In which case cool but he will wear under his street clothes, Superman style.

Al owes Nora a huge debt so he will def want to check it out. It's a part of his back story. Don't want to split the party/make DM work harder than needs to though...

Breastplate would give you an AC of 16 and 18 w/shield w/no stealth penalty. That's why I thought you would prefer it. It's the best armor for you at the moment.

What if we said Tro'leera was on the way to the place where we need to descend to get to Nora? We pass through the market, let people do their shopping (off screen), hit up Tro'leera, and then head underground. Honestly, I'm thinking if Nora is infected using the sleep spell on her might be the best option to get her out and to the clerics of Pelor above ground so I want to help if possible.

First: I'm fine with Shen checking on the ill, I have this awful foreboding feeling now about it. (And seem to recall the bard's tail describing something underneath the city, which seems to be the origin of the red death.) Feel free to narrate Shen's response or just assume she goes with you. I have nothing I want to buy unless cool enchanted weapons are around. Oh, probably will silver my halberd, I guess.

Second: speaking of shopping! Are there significant updates to the inventory, or should we use the same list from before?

Question, what are the stats on the shortsword? Does it require identifying?
We identified it after fighting the first batch of goblins.

Attunement required (meaning spend an hour with it; should probably already assume it's attuned). Command word (which you would know, since we identified it) makes it shine like a candle. A different command word causes wielder 1d6 damage, and until their next turn, the blade shines like a torch and is treated as magical for overcoming resistance.

No other stats AFAIK (no +1 or anything). But if we meet something that resists non-magical weapons it will be nice. Especially if you Action Surge to get two hits out of it that turn.

Finally got an IC post up- this week has been crazy. Mina has no particular interest in specific loot (beyond coin), and only a bit of shopping to do (mostly replacing consumed gear). She is also perfectly happy to tag along if we are going investigating- hopefully no more sand goblins for a while...

The curved swords are 1d10 slashing, two-handed, and versatile. When Sezarious first described him, I didn't think anyone else would want that. If someone does want one, I don't mind making that happen.
