OOC: Okay, I'm holding off on the Acid Arrow until y'all get things set up. I was thinking about moving P down a bit and Thunderwaving one of the bugbears to end the flanking, but that would eliminate Tander's opportunity to flank. Sticking with Magic Missile.

"Pig*********! I am the A-********-number-one psycho-barbarian-mega-berzerker-magician!" yells Palindrome, "First, I'm gonna ******** kill you. Then, I will ********* cook you. And then, I will ********* ********* eat you, you ************* monkeys of ************ ********** of syphilitic ************* cheese!"

*BLAM!*

OOC: Magic Missile v. Bugbear on the right. Magic Missile. (1d20+5=12, 2d4+4=12)

[sblock=Complaining]Well, ain't that just howdy-doody, happy-crappy special! Rolled a 12 for the attack, which ain't gonna hit, and rolled max damage.[/sblock]

Tander tries to continue keep up his assault, launching streams of radiant enemy from his fingertips at the enemy.

OOC: Please roll for me as invisible castle down (or I can use my dice if you want to go with the honor system). Lance of faith: +6 vs Reflex on right enemy (+4 base, +1 time bonus, +1 using Divine Fortune) - on hit does 1d8+5 radiant damage and Woe gets +2 power bonus to next attack against that enemy (no bonus on miss). As a move action, move to flank right enemy with Woe (possibly drawing opp attack). If enemy hits Tander with an opp. attack and does 6-11 damage, spend action point to take second wind. 12 or more damage and use minor for healing word instead.

Tander's lance of faith strikes the Bugbear in the temple and it reels obviously badly injured by the power (nat 20). Elated the cleric makes his way around to flank the creature with Woe, it lashes out with its mornigstar, but is apparently still dizzy from Tander's attack and misses.

With their frustrated evident the creatures again speak in their guttural tongue. The the freshest moves around to flank Tander with his comapanion and they both lash out at the priest. Both morningstars hammer home and Tander is left bloodied and battered on the floor. The injured one steps away from Woe, who lashed out, but missed as it swung.

OOC:Tander takes 31 points of damage. If you post actions I will be happy to roll, or you can wait for IC up to you. :D

[sblock=Rolls]
Tander 20
Bugbears 11 and 15 to hit, 7 and 12 for damage.

Math happens

[sblock=Whoa!]Damn, how did we anger the Dice Gods this badly?! :p

Anyhow, I think, respectfully, there might be a few miscalculations against us here:
On their last turn the badly wounded bugbear had taken 47 damage. Then Woe stabbed it for 7 pts and Tander flashed it for 13 pts. Won’t that make total damage 67 pt rather than 60?
Also, if the bugbears rolled 7 and 12 for damaging Tander, won’t that make the total only 19 rather than 21? (putting him at 5/24 rather than 3/24)[/sblock]

[sblock=Whoops]
Okay I forgot Woes damage. But Tanders was actually more than I realized, the rolls were 7 and 12, each of thos is +6 for a total of 31:eek:. A DC 10 heal check will allow Tander to spend his second wind.[/sblock]

A sneer cuts across Woe’s face when the bugbears turn away from him and pound the priest out cold. He moves in to stand over Tander’s body and retaliates against the severely wounded bugbear while spitting curses like mad.

“You bloody worthless cowards! Don’t you turn your back on me! I’m gonna’ impale you worse than a virgin farm girl in heat!!”

With a victorious howl Woe drives his spear viciously into the guts of the bugbear and twists, taking gleeful joy in enacting his vengeance.

OOC: Move into Tander’s square and attack the most wounded bugbear with Comeback Strike: +10 vs AC (+7 standard + 2 Lance of Faith +1 Time), on hit 2d8+4 damage and Woe spends a surge.

[sblock=YES!]Booyah! We can still win this thing! Woe’s got Heal trained and with time bonus he’ll have 90% chance of getting Tander back on his feet.

In hindsight, I think it might have been bad advice on my part for Tander to reposition. Sorry, nerdytenor![/sblock]

[sblock=Yee-Haw!]One down, one to go.

Sorry, NT. I'd try to run Palindrome over to Tander and try a heal, but he's too many spaces away. I'll focus on trying to bring down the last douche-bag. And definitely won't cast Acid Arrow with Tander in the area of effect.[/sblock]

Of a sudden, the screaming, upwards dripping blood, sparks, bulging eyes, and frothing at the mouth stops. Palindrome crosses his arms and cups his chin. "Impale you worse than a virgin farm girl in heat... Hmm. Does he mean that he'll perform an impale that is less effective than said female? Of course, I didn't know it was common practice for virgin farm girls to impale people. And then there's the whole issue of 'in heat'. Speaking strictly from a perspective of biomagicology, humanoid farm girls do not enter heat and may mate at any..."

*BLAM*

[OOC: No access to Invisible Castle. Magic Missile: +5 to hit, 2d4+4 damage.]
