The Complete Sneak?

Is WotC going to release of a book of for bards, rogues, assassins and related classes the way it released books on fighters, arcane and divine magic users?

To date, WotC has released Complete Warrior, Complete Arcane and Complete Divine. While the book Complete Adventurer is forth coming, it appears to be for all classes rather than the “subtle” ones.

So, will WotC release a book for sneaky classes?

I doubt it. Complete Adventurer fills that role. The new base classes are of the sneaky type (you can't get sneakier than a Ninja!), the Prestige Classes are geared towards rogues, bards and rangers (who are the typical sneaky folks, not counting the monks), etc.

I think Complete Adventurer seals the "Complete" line of products...

I agree. Complete Adventurer is really geared towards classes with more skills. Bards, rogues and assassins have more skills than almost everyone else. They also have feats that the more "acrobatic" classes can use. Presitge classes like Thief-Acrobat are in there, so I'm assuming this ends the "Complete" line of books.

Complete Arcane wasn't for all classes, or even just arcane ones. It was for the Wu-jen.

Funny that we got so much use out of it, with nobody playing a Wu-jen. I guess I've been doing it wrong.

All the "Complete" books were supposed to be for all classes. The Complete Warrior filled this bill, Divine completely missed it, Arcane was a little back on track and Adventurer is good for all of them. Thats why I am only getting CWar and CAdv.

If I can get the other two for 50% off or more, I might pick them up.

Yes, actually you are doing it wrong. The RPG police will be there shortly to rectify this problem. It will go easier on you if you cooperate.








*ahem* I was being snarky. My group has been getting some good uses out of CArcane, too. I just think there should have been less Wu-jen material and more stuff for the wizard and sorcerer.
