The Mystic might never get officially published, but it is hardly dead. We still have our pdfs to use at the table. And there is DMs Guild material for it.

Hence The Mystic is still part of the list of Psionics.

At the rate we are going, there might just be a psionic subclass for every class before this batch of UA updates ends (presumably sometime next year)

the only thing I’m missing at this point is A Cleric domain like the Mind or Mentalism domain or something.

I don’t need a Psionic Ranger (Monster Slayer already covers Rangers who hunt creatures like Mind Flayers well) or a Psionic Paladin.

Monks and ki are basically already Psionic butfor that specific tag applied and don’t need much beyond that for me.

For Psionic Cleric, ‘consciousness’ in the sense of transcendent mysticism is an excellent flavor.

I pictured the ‘jedi’ as a Psionic Paladin, substituting force for radiant, but the UA makes it a Psionic Fighter, and that works fine too.
