The Crux of the Matter

[Rystil Arden]

*The group sets off to explore the mysterious tower.*

(OOC: Will you guys head directly to the tower or take a detour to the town?)

(ooc: Tenebrynn would like to detour to the town. He'll want to hear more local rumors some of which might hold a kernel of truth.)

OOC: Town, Laynie isn't exactly tower material

 

[Rystil Arden]

*The group heads southwards towards the village of Briarton, eventually reaching the small confluence of the two little rivers that feed into Briarton's two mills.*

*Along the way, Laynie tries to convince Vanitri to bring her along to the tower.*

"Mister Vanitri...I think I might be able to help with this tower...maybe...Can I come with you?"

 

[Bront]

"Laynie, I don't think this is the kind of thing you should be going to. It's going to be dangerous." Vanitri looks around at the others to read their opinions on the subject.

 

[Rystil Arden]

"I've been around this area before--if it's too dangerous, I'll go back to the town, okay?"

 

[Erekose13]

Tenebrynn leaves the decision up to Vanitri. Personally he is interested in Laynie's apparent insights and intellect.

 

[Bront]

Vanitri sighs and nods to Laynie, "All right, but remember, I say so, and you go right back to the town, ok?"

 

[Rystil Arden]

*Laynie smiles and nods happily.*

"Sure, Mister Vanitri--whatever you say!"

(OOC: Everyone is free to do whatever they wish in Briarton. Then when we're ready, we can move on to the tower )

Vanitri will arange for lodging for himself and Laynie, and gather info about the tower and any recient happenings.
