(Okay, that's what I had assumed at first, until for some reason I got into my head that in an ancient Medibaran book the phrase would be spelled out in Ancient Medibaran, which threw me for a loop.)

"Oh, this is definitely rearranged by someone on purpose--that's why I even noticed the pattern, Elektra used to read me from the standard issue of this text when she was babysitting me sometimes and I've always liked these stories, so I noticed that the stories were completely out of order and a few had slight wording changes."

"He could try an all-nighter like some of the guys at school used to do when they couldn't handle everything fast enough," Laynie offers.

(OOC: He can't rest or he will die, but he could pull an all-nighter and possibly get fatigued or exhausted. If so, he may want to also think about grabbing bonuses, since on average, he'll be dead long before eight hours pass even if he stays awake to try)

OOC: Nah, we'll just have to live with him like this for the moment. The neclace helps a bit at least.

"I had thought the alliteration may have been meaningful, but apparently not. I guess, I'll quickly look at all the sentences. As an aside, what would be the Ancient Medibaran translation of that phrase?"

"I'm not sure I can make it though the night, though I don't have much of an alternative solution at the moment. I can try to use some of the potions that we've identifies to help stabilize myself though the night while you all sleep." replies Tenebrynn.
