Enroute to New York I call and leave a message for Ethan, not wanting to disturb him at the crime scene. "This is William MacBeth, let him know I think I may have found a connection in the crimes he is currently investigating. I'm on my way down from Vermont and should be there about 4:00. Also let him know I may be getting the assistance of another expert, someone a bit more specialized than myself."

Hanging up with the NYPD I look at my watch. Still a bit early yet. If Ralph was working last night he'll still be sleeping. I'll wait until I'm closer to the city.

It's 5:00 pm, stuck in traffic entering New York. If I didn't know better I would think someone is trying to keep me from getting into town to work this case. Figuring I've got a bit of time to kill I try calling Ralph again.

A couple of rings later the phone picks up. "Hi Ralph, it's Bill MacBeth. How are you doin'?"

"Bill, long time man. Whats going down?"

"Oh you know, digging into things I'm probably better off not knowing and trying to convince others that I'm not paranoid. You still deep into Egyptology?"

Bill, you're talking to Ralph, thinking, "Could it be the hand of Anubis? Or could it just be coincidence?" Then, you think of something youn hadn't thought of before. "Could it be a sign for some kind of gang? Who would know?" Then, it comes to your mind. Your cousin, Aaron Sebloski. You haven't spoken in years, but you think you still have his number. You'll have to call him later to see if he knows anything similar going on in the crminal underworld.

Getting no response from Valentine Ethan saunters off "I have better things to do than wait for you to get down of your high horse and answer my questions. If you decide you want to help out you know where to find me" Ethan then walks slowly around the crime scene again, trying to pick up on anything he missed with his first pass.

Other than what I have already said, you cannot find anything special about the crime scene.

Ethan lights another cigarette and orders the next in charge to wrap things up at the crime scene. As he walks back to his car he checks his voicemail messages.

Ethan looks at his watch "Still hours to go till he gets here, oh well back to the Office for some more research then - but first I better grab something to eat" he scans the area looking for a diner.

OOC: Umm... I'm not sure if I'm supposed to answer, but...

IC: You see a small, shabby place with a large "CHELSEA'S INER" sign above it. The "D" doesn't seem to be working.
