The Deadliest Swordsman

Okay, we've beaten the Archer debate into the ground several times over, which I don't mind since Archers rule....but I thought I'd open it up for the other side.

You've got twenty levels, and can only take one PrC, if you so choose. Who makes the deadliest swordsman? Weapon Master? Frenzied Berserker?Something else? What do you think?

Is it greater than a Frenzied Berserker's Frenzy+Improved Power Attack?

Can any class take down a 10th level Ghostwalker who previously lost half his hit points to them in an earlier fight? IIRC, he's gets +10 to hit, damage, and AC when he meets them again....one tough hombre.

Ya, cause you can actually hit with it. There are many factors to consider, just like the archer.

what about iaijutsu master? iaijutsu duel + strike from the void, or strike with no thought- can hit before the battle even starts! nasty stuff.

I think those circumstances are a little to character focused. Are we building the bnest swordsman under any conditions or specific ones?

Ya, cause you can actually hit with it. There are many factors to consider, just like the archer.

What's the Precise Damage amount? Remember, a Frenzied Berserker who subtracts a measly 5 from his attack roll gets to add +10 damage to all attacks. Combine that with the fact that his strength (and consequently his to hit bonus) goes up when he Frenzies....

Maxes out at +3d6. So, it averages a little better but doesn't get the -5 to attack.

You do realize that someone will post a cleric as the best swordsman soon, right?
