Michael Marley looking at Tasha asks trying to gather information, "What is this all about there seems to be more going on than meets the eye?"

The Count eyes the "bearers" of the puzzle-box speculatively.

"It seems that this day has even more surprises to offer. I bet that more rules were broken here today than since the foundation days of the club."

Turning towards them, he addresses the two:

"So this chinaman just handed it off to you? Why didn't he bring it himself? A bit strange, don't you agree? Especially in light of the fact that he somehow needed two messengers."

"No, not strange in the least. I'm in the business of delivering packages, especially important ones. Sometimes it is important to my clients that I not know exactly who they are. And two messangers, not stragne either. I would have delivered it myself, but Tasha here was with me when I recieved the package. She is in my employ, I trust her and felt better having her along with me...if for nothing else than the company of a lovely lady.

If anything is peculiar, it is that so many peopel are taking interest in a matter which does not concern them. Now, Dr Galvin, I have no idea why the chinaman wanted the package delivered to you, I don't stick my nose in business where it doesn't belong.... I suppose that is why people hire me to deliver for them. If you are not interested in receiving the package, here, I'll gladly take it back to where it came from." Dobber reaches for the box.

Angus looks and listens to the discussion, not intervening. A smile is on his lips, contradicted by his eyes as he watches the con-man. This is not over yet, mister, you better believe it.

Michael Marley looks on puzzled still by the events. He watches the two new comers closely. The box intrigues him from a research perspective.

Professor Galvin clears his throat. "If you say it is for me, I will take it. And as for compensation here is a soverign for your troubles." He takes out a golden coin and flips it with practiced ease towards Dobber. Dobber snatchs it out of the air with equal flare.

"Now lets see what's in this mystery box!" He takes the box and places it on a table in the middle of the room. Those gathered around lean in to get a better look. He fiddles with it and tries to open it but with little success. "I am no good at puzzles. Herr Hardenberg, why don't you give it a try. This is more in your line of expertise than mine."

OCC: Consider it proded! :)

After Dobber snatches the sovereign out of the air, he quickly slips it into his vest pocket. " Thank you kindly, sir."

He then nudges Tasha in the rib. He looks down towards her and gives a casual glance in the direction away from the crowd and more importantly the inspector. He uses the gathering crowd as a distraction and slips away from the center of attention. He still remain s in teh general area though, curious himself as to what lies in the box. He tries to get on teh opposite side of the crowd from the inspector, hopefully a close distance to the main door or another exit.

Dr. Marley showing impatience moves forward as Dr. Galvin continues to gaze at the object. He tries to see any figures of importance on the cube or clues to figure it out.

As Dobber moves away from the centre of attention, Angus gives him a wink. A friendly seeming gesture, but the deeper intent is clear to the both of them.

I'm a patient man, Dobber, I can wait. Best leave Londen, or England, if you don't want to discuss this little event in the near future.
